The random radio show was a 60 minute radio program heard every Friday at 6 p.m Pacific time, simulcasted on the air at KTST-fm 89.5 and over the internet at ktstfm.com and randomradioshow.com. The show is hosted by Demosthenes Spiropoulos and Valerie Peters.
The random radio show was first broadcast on March 4, 2002 on KLAS 89.7 FM. The show was then hosted by Demosthenes Spiropoulos with his co-host Stick-Man.
You can hear the random radio show on KTST-fm 89.5. But unfortunately, in the crowded southern California radio landscape, KTST is snugged between two high-powered NPR stations, so KTST doesn't have great range. However, you can tune in online at ktstfm.com and randomradioshow.com from anywhere across the nation and around the world. (in fact, about 50% of the random radio show audience dials in from outside the Greater Los Angeles/Orange County area, with a high number of international listeners)
Even though some fans only know it as an internet radio program, the random radio show is indeed simulcasted over the airwaves, as well as through the internet. Thus, the show is subject to FCC regulations.
We are always on the lookout for something different. If you want some honest-to-goodness "on air" exposure, then by all means, give us a jingle. E-mail us and we'll chat.
In addition to the random radio show, World of Demosthenes Productions currently has projects and shows in development for radio, television, and the web.
