Demosthenes |
|
Host / Executive Producer
|
Demosthenes Spiropoulos began his career in radio at the age of 3. He answered an open call for a radio host position. Once he arrived, he physically removed all the other perspective candidates, so when the general manager finally entered the reception area, Demosthenes was the only one there and got the position by default.
Demosthenes won an Olympic Gold Medal in Wandering and a Silver Medal in Sleeping at the 2000 Sydney Games. When he is not in the roles of an internationally recognized radio superstar and world class athlete, Demosthenes enjoys meteorology, fashion design, Wicca, Newtonian physics, Medieval Hungarian tapestries, and lying in repose.
Demosthenes has an IQ of 148, can physically throw a grown man 15 feet, and lists modesty as his greatest trait. He lives in Garden Grove, California, with his pig, Chuy.

When Demosthenes was looking for an on-air partner to do his show with, he went no further than his local House o' Sidekicks. There, he picked up Valerie Peters, the saucy co-host of the random radio show.
Middle school teacher by day, radio personality by night, Valerie possesses a diverse array of hobbies including: piracy on the high seas, Formula One racing, castle building, soap making, skydiving, gardening, and reading (her favorite book is the unabridged Oxford English Dictionary).
Valerie only accepted the position with the random radio show if she wasn't required to work. She lives in Garden Grove, California, in a swanky new place next door to a Taco Bell.

"Big Daddy" Dave |
|
Guest Co-Host
|
"Big Daddy" Dave is a random radio show favorite who has been known to simply sit in on various broadcasts and be a guest co-host whenever he would be in town. Known for his uncharacteristically deadpan delivery, Dave often serves up interesting tidbits from his life as a world traveler.
Dave has lived in roughly two dozen states, holds certifications in almost everything, and laments that there are no In-N-Out restaurants outside the West Coast.
Dave is currently working for a covert dive strike team. Rumor has it he's currently in Orlando, Florida, but that can be neither confirmed nor denied.

Chrissy |
|
Assistant Music Director / Music Scout
|
Chrissy Casillas recieved a call from Demosthenes one day to help with the random radio show. After the 27th call, Chrissy finally said "yes" and now works as an Assistant Music Director, helping Demosthenes find and discover new and interesting music for the show.
Chrissy also works the club scene in Los Angeles and Long Beach, and scouts new, upcoming artists and other "talent." Unfortunately, most of the music we like, we can't play due to some FCC thingy about profanity on the air.
Chrissy lives in Long Beach, California, with her cat, whose name eludes me at the moment. I think it's Jinx.

DJ Bornoc |
|
Assistant Program Director
|
"Uncle Bob" originally started out as sole member of the test audience for Demosthenes' jokes, but recently was promoted to Assistant Program Director of the random radio show. He's now the man responsible for burning copies of the show onto CD so we can ship them to the troops in Iraq.
Bob was taken from us way too soon on January 3, 2006. He will be missed, but his life will be praised.
Uncle Bob is survived by his wife, Morgan.

Jenny Fuller is the Press Secretary for World of Demosthenes Productions, so as part of her job description, she runs the Publicity angle for the random radio show.
Jenny passes her time by hustling old men out of their money at pool halls across Orange County. She also plays soccer in her spare time, and can drink you under the table, so you better recognize, Paco!!!
Jenny's got the easiest job around as she only has to work when Demosthenes disappears into the mountains and Valerie is out of town on assignment. She lives in Pomona, California, with her roommate that works at Hooters (no joke, she does).
